To resolve this problem I have checked this forum for similar posts, the web, and I found a couple of YouTube videos that deal with similar issues. I bought a new Realtek Wireless USB adaptor and I can't get Linux to recognise it (at the moment my internet connection is through a driect cable connection to my ASUS RT-AC66U router). This receiver is quite old and doesn't work very well at the best of times, either on windows or Linux. Hi, I have been using an old D-Link wireless receiver with my Linux Mint 19.2 system.
